If you want to change the account that you are using on your PS4, follow the steps below. Please note that you will need to have your PlayStationNetwork account information handy.

Press the PS button on the controller to return to the home screen.

Scroll up to the Function area and select Settings.

Select Account Management.

Select Account Information.

Select Sign In.

Select Change User.

Select New User.

Follow the on-screen instructions to create a new account or sign in with an existing PlayStationNetwork account.

If you are signing in with an existing account, you will be asked to enter your account information. Once you have signed in, you will be returned to the home screen.

To switch between accounts, press the PS button on the controller and scroll up to the Function area. Select Change User and then select the account that you want to use.

If you're the primary account holder on your PS4, you can change your account name, password, and email address from your Profile page. If you want to change your PSN Online ID, go to the PlayStationNetwork Account Management website.

To change your account name, password, or email address:

Select Settings > Account Management > Account Information.

Enter your account password.

Select Account Information.

Select Profile.

Select Online ID.

Enter a new online ID.

Your new online ID can be anything up to 16 characters long. It must be unique and not include any spaces. You can use letters, numbers, hyphens (-), and underscores (_).

If you want to change your PSN Online ID, go to the PlayStationNetwork Account Management website.
